Being Inpired

With the remodel nearing completion, I have been scouring decorating books, magazines, and blogs. I'm going to have my own bedroom again, and I'm dying to make it something I really am in love with. In the apartments we lived in, we weren't allowed to paint, so this is so exciting for me. Plus I have a new bathroom, and the place where our bed is now will be a living/playroom.

It's exciting to say the least.

I thought I would put up some of my inspirations, and the awesome blogs I've found them on.

Oh, to live in this room. It's so beautiful it makes me hurt.

I love the mirrors.

I'm not sure I could pinpoint exactly what I love about this one other than the feel.

Just love this one.

This is possibly the cutest little girl's room ever. I love the lights.
From Hulaseventy She is from Portland, and I am in love with her blog. More on that later.

I am in love with this couch and ottoman. It's Ligne Roset Togo, and if I ever have thousands of dollars just lying around, I'll buy them.

I used to be totally confused as to what my style is. I had two really opposite things I really liked. Actually, I still might not know what it's called, but I do know what I like. After lots of time clipping pictures, and trying to decide exactly what I liked about it, I've found I like: Lots of white, dark wood, splashes of colors, and low furniture. You would think I could have just figured that out, but I'm glad I got to find all these beautiful, inspiring things in the process.

You know what's funny Manda? I've never even been in any place you've lived, and I hardly "know" you IRL, lol. But all of those rooms totally scream *Manda!* They just go with your personality and style. I love it.

It looks like you lean slightly in favor of the contempory style. I like a little contempory style, too. Just not modern. That gets weird. My favorite store? Ikea. I LOVE just about everything in there. If I had tons of money lying around, I'd spend it all there. :o) I think one fo the biggest differences between our tastes is that I love color on the walls. Not bright colors but more subtle colors. I can't wait to get our own place so that I can paint the walls, too! :o)
