- Katie was saying a prayer, and she was thankful for "make Aimee laugh"
- Aimee had crackers, and dropped them into a little play pitcher, and they wouldn't come out. She stuck her hand in to get them out, and her hand got stuck, but she wouldn't let go of the cracker to get her hand out. Crying ensued. I got her hand and cracker out. Then she did it again.

Happy Mother's Day
Happy Mother's Day to all the moms, and future moms!
I love my mom, she is my best friend, and still loves me despite my awful teenage years.
I love Jon's mom, she treats me like one of her own kids.
My sisters and sister-in-laws are all so awesome, and I admire them a lot.
I'm so lucky.

I'm thinking about dying my hair red...
And I either want encouragement, or discouragement, I don't know which. So you can decide.

Monday List Day
This is one of my 25 things, and I'm just now starting it. I am a slacker. But hopefully now every Monday I will be making lists, hopefully not boring lists.
Today's I decided would be:
What I've done today:

What I've done today:
- Had an annoying dream where a baby was crying a lot and I couldn't make it stop.
- Woke up and realized it was Aimee crying. She had snot down to her chin.
- Cleaned up the mess Katie made before I woke up.
- Bowls of cereal all around.
- Got myself and Aimee dressed. Told Katie her shirt was on backwards.
- Looked at community programs and tried to decide whether to put Katie in soccer this summer.
- Asked Katie if she would like to play soccer. Endured temper tantrum caused by not playing soccer NOW!
- Unloaded and partially loaded the dishwasher.
- Boiled eggs.
- Told Aimee to get off the bench/couch/chair forty times.
- Picked up Aimee off the bench/couch/chair thirty-nine times. (Telling her to get down worked once)
- Checked my blog and email 15 times. Checked other people's blogs too. (While doing #s 10 and 11)
- Snacks for kiddos.
- Put Aimee to bed.
- Dyed eggs with Katie.
- Spilled blue dye all over the counter top.
- Played my DS.
- Ate chips and made this list.

Mostly cute kids
We were at the grocery store a couple of days ago, and Katie sees a man walking toward us. She stared at him for a minute, and as he's passing us, she says, "That was a big guy. Mommy! That was a big guy! He's FAT!" Oh my gosh, I have not been so embarrassed in a long time. I immediately put my hand over my mouth to prevent laughing, then told her that it's not nice to call people fat. The guy wasn't even fat, he was just tall and solid.
Aimee just smiles at everyone passing by. She scrunches up her nose and looks very cute. Unless she decides she doesn't like a person, then she stares with a disapproving look on her face.
Aimee has her own language. She used to say bah-boh for bottle, and then it became anything she drinks. Then she changed it to Bah-boo. Then she started calling me ma-moo the other day. I was not so pleased about that one.
I told Katie to go to her room, and we could read a book together. She said, "Mommy, I can't read. But I can listen!" It was cute.

Two Ews
- Katie has been having a lot of accidents today. Four of them, all though they were all pee ones, so that's better. Anyway, I had just given Katie and Aimee baths, and we went to Target really quickly. While there, Katie gets a funny look on her face, and yells Mommy! She had peed, and it was all down her pajamas, and dripping down in her shoes and on the floor. I was so embarrassed.
- Last night, I went down to open the door, and I stepped on a worm, with bare feet. I screamed like a little girl, and commenced squealing and shaking my foot, and hands. I ran upstairs while my extremely nice brother-in-law got rid of it, and I washed my foot. Not once, twice, or thrice, but four times. It was that gross. Also, it was about a foot long I think. Extremely nice bro-in-law thought it was a snake at first.

Potty Party!
Warning: This post is about poop.
Yesterday, a momentous event occurred. You may not think it is momentous, but you are wrong. It is. It's huge. It's wonderful and amazing. Ready?
Katie pooped in the potty!!!
I've been trying to potty train Katie off an on for about a year. I never really pushed it, since she didn't seem ready, and it was so much easier to change diapers than clean up after accidents. But, she's getting bigger, and a little after she turned three, and changing diapers got pretty gross, I decided it was time.
Katie is really good at going pee in the potty, so we started letting her wear underwear. All would go well until she had to poop, when she would do it right in her underwear. Almost every day, for a month. We tried diapers, pull-ups, underwear, but she would poop in them. And in the bath one time too. It was awful. And she would be upset, and I would be upset, and it was just not fun. The girl can go all night without accidents, and almost all day too. It's frustrating.
But yesterday, sweet blessed day, that finally changed. Katie went to the bathroom, and since she leaves the door open, I was keeping an eye on her. So, she goes, looks down in the toilet, and screams as loud as possible, "Mommy! I pooped in the potty!" There should really be about a thousand exclamation points, but I'll spare you.
And we rejoiced. We called Daddy, Gramma, and Nana, and she joyfully told each one, "I'm a big girl now!"
I had been promising her a potty party if she went poop in the potty for a while now, so Gramma made her cupcakes (with pink icing) and her cousins were there, so it was a real party.
There will be pictures, but right now they are not transferring from the camera to the computer, so I'll have to figure that out.
Now I'm just praying she does it again.
