Mostly cute kids

We were at the grocery store a couple of days ago, and Katie sees a man walking toward us. She stared at him for a minute, and as he's passing us, she says, "That was a big guy. Mommy! That was a big guy! He's FAT!" Oh my gosh, I have not been so embarrassed in a long time. I immediately put my hand over my mouth to prevent laughing, then told her that it's not nice to call people fat. The guy wasn't even fat, he was just tall and solid.

Aimee just smiles at everyone passing by. She scrunches up her nose and looks very cute. Unless she decides she doesn't like a person, then she stares with a disapproving look on her face.

Aimee has her own language. She used to say bah-boh for bottle, and then it became anything she drinks. Then she changed it to Bah-boo. Then she started calling me ma-moo the other day. I was not so pleased about that one.

I told Katie to go to her room, and we could read a book together. She said, "Mommy, I can't read. But I can listen!" It was cute.

Happy May Day (yesterday)

Henry has started really being LOUD about his observations of people's differences, wheelchairs, size, etc. It's just lovely. :)

We have been watching Madagascar 2 with Bridger lately, and I am just waiting for the day he calls someone "round" or "chunky"... It is funny in the movie? Why not real life?
