Here's our news, good and bad.
1. New Car
New to us anyway. We just got it on Saturday, since our car was totaled. We had a navy blue Camry, and now we have a black Camry. We bought it off craigslist from some super nice people, so we're just kind of hoping it doesn't break anytime soon. The joys of being poor students!
2. New Hair
I was bored with my hair, so I cut bangs. I look SO different. I feel like I have a wig on. And I keep being surprised when I look in the mirror. I like it though, it's just weird. I'll post a pic later.
3. Katie's Stutter
She just within the last month or so started stuttering, and I spent a while on the internet researching, and she has a real stutter (not just normal dysfluency) since she repeats just the first syllable, not the first word. (Ex.- Are-are-are you going? as opposed to Ah-Ah-Ah-Ah-Ah-Ah-Are you going? Katie does the latter.) According to the Stuttering Foundation (which I had no idea even existed) there's a very good chance she'll outgrow it, since it started early. I also learned what to do (speak slower) and what not to do (don't interrupt or tell her to start over) The internet is awesome like that. So I'm a bit worried because it seems like it's getting more frequent and it's starting to bother her. She started putting her hand on her face when it gets bad. Poor girl.

I hope the new car works out for you guys! And you need to post a pic of your hair ASAP! I love new hairstyles. :o) As for Katie, try not to worry too much. I know that's hard as a mom. Just keep doing all the things that you should be doing to help her. Sometimes Eli will breathe mid-word (ex. testi--breathe--mony). He only does it on certain words though. I'm hoping it's just something he'll grow out of, too. It's nice to read up on you guys. Sorry I was behind on my blog for awhile. We're still alive and well! Love you guys!
I have honesely never noticed Katie stuttering so it must be a more recent thing. I do feel bad for her though, hopefully it just goes away like the 'stuttering foundation' said it very well could.
Congratulations on the new car. I am taking it you don't need to borrow ours anymore. You are welcome to it the first two weeks of October though. It will just be sitting collecting dust while I am in Utah with my hubby.
I will see you Thrusday at the shower. Are you bringing your girls or leaving them with Jon? I think I am going to leave Lucy, but wanted to know what you were doing.
