May

May was busy but fun!
goofy girls
I got them these tracksuits, and was thinking about returning them, but I'm so glad I didn't.They wore them all the time! Katie wore hers every Thursday, which was PE day.

We went to the beach with my parents.

I just love this one, Aimee and her stick

Crawling up the sand dunes. It was surprisingly hard!
We wore ourselves out climbing up and sliding down.

Then for mother's day I requested the beach again! It was perfect weather- I just love the beach.

The tide was coming in, so every 10 minutes we had to move our stuff, or it would get soaked! The girls, especially Aimee love getting in the water, even though it is freezing.

Then Katie had her Kindergarten music program:

And this is what Aimee did while I volunteered at the library. She was always so quiet and good at school!

March

It looks like monthly updating is about as much as I can do on the blog for now, so here was March!

Katie presented her project on frogs at school.

 It snowed again
And daddy took them sledding (on cardboard, which didn't work so well)
Aimee still had fun!
I have passed by this house a few times, and finally took a picture. Enlarge it!
so much junk
Katie with one of her very best friends ever. They had another play date recently where they wanted to stay as long as the whole universe. So cute.

Pictures in church! My parent's got back from Tahiti, and we went down to hear them speak. It is so nice to have them home again!

she looks so old!
 Frozen yogurt with the girls
Aimee is lounging

They always put so many toppings, and it looks disgusting!
 And then it snowed again!
This time we admired it from inside.

Super butterfly girl?
Cousins, covered in makeup and glitter.
Seriously, glitter everywhere.
 And that was March!

February

I love February! It has Valentine's day and my birthday!

At the beginning of the month, I lost my mind. I almost adopted this ugly-cute dog.

Luckily (for me) he was a sprayer- and in the 15 minutes we walked him around he peed at least 20 times. Sometime within that 15 minutes my brain also came back, and we handed him back over. I am not an animal person. And I clean enough pee off the floor with Aimee.

I took the girls to the river. We hung out on the dock for a while.

so cute together
Then it was Valentine's Day! I helped at Katie's school, and it was really fun. I loved those parties when I was in elementary school.

look at that huge pile of sprinkles!
I made the girls matching heart headbands, and they were pretty cute if I say so myself. I got the idea HERE, but just hot glued the felt hearts to ribbon. (And it took like 10 min to make both of them)

A cute one of Aimee, just because.

Katie had her 100th day of school. She got to wear a crown! And this is the project we did. A centipede! With 100 toothpick legs! And we had to look at some really disgusting pictures to see what they look like, but that's what she really wanted to do!
at school, sharing her project

she looks so old in this picture!

The girls like to read together.

It's really cute.

January

Hiking with Claire and Lisa. This was the new years resolution hike. Hike more! (and already abandoned, like all NYRs)
They're all smiling at the same time!

Then it snowed!
This is kind of a terrible picture, but they're having so much fun!
Aimee's first snowman, I'm pretty sure.

Updates

For the next few days I'm going to try to catch up on all my old posts I was supposed to do. I think I'm going to date them as they were supposed to be written, instead of when I really write them. So if you feel like it, you can scroll back and look at them. I'll be going back to Katie's birthday, so end of October.
